The Somerset Masonic Charity has recently made a grant of £2,500 which has been matched by a further £2,500 from the Masonic Charitable Foundation (the Freemason’s Charity funded by Freemasons, their families and friends) making a total donation of £5,000 to enable the Duke of Edinburgh Award Bursary Scheme to support disadvantaged young people in Somerset.

On Friday 15 March Ben Batley, Graham Puddy, Adrian Robson, Sam Sheasby and Tom Beasley, along with Tom’s wife Charlotte, attended Kilve Court to view at first hand the good work of the Scheme which Somerset Freemasons continue to support.

This is an article produced by Carol Authers from the Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme outlining the impact of the partnership with Somerset Freemasons, along with photographs from the visit.
